We are honored to have the multi-talented renowned artisan Nathen Blackwell and his wife Millie as our April luncheon guest.

Nathen will personally review his fascinating career and share his work with us.

At the Reagan Library he works alone using his own hand tools. The new Air Force One Pavilion contains 1707 hand carved letters on its donor name wall. Nathen is also responsible for President Reagan’s Memorial and the carved Presidential Seals on the memorial and in the library rotunda.

Our June special event will be the Reagan Library. Nathen’s stonework is everywhere; we can pause and appreciate it more because we have met the “Master Stone Carver”.

A representative from the Office of Phil Schmit – Board of Election will be at the April meeting to demonstrate and explain the new electronic voting machine.
