When we arrived here in lovely Pleasant Valley 43 years ago as an Air Force family, little did we think it would become our permanent home. How fortunate we have been to live in this friendly and lovely city, raise our four children here and now enjoy seeing our grandchildren also thrive in this outstanding community.

We, the Camarillo Republican Women Federated Club also extend to you the warm welcome of our community and invite you to join this dynamic and energic group of women. Our club is a membership of 200+ and growing, the largest of the 11 clubs in the County. As a part of the California Federation of Republican Women we are affiliated with the National Federation of Republican Women that recognizes the importance of women’s active participation in politics. This organization is an exciting, progressive and effective movement of Republican women and we would welcome your active participation in our club.

The CRWF are all concerned American women and we participate on an ongoing basis in holding voter registration at various locations in town, participate in the County’s “Adopt-a-Poll” program at election times by “adopting” two polls in town, offer a monetary award to Camarillo’s 8th graders in an annual essay contest on Americanism, and award two $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors. This past year we donated eight American flags to our elementary schools in Camarillo. Our members are dedicated in collecting items for monthly shipment of care packages to our military in Afghanistan and Iraq. I have shared with you a little insight into the activities of this active club.

Our monthly luncheon meeting, held at Sterling Hills Golf Club on the 4th Monday of the month, is a good opportunity to visit with us and to enjoy interesting and varied programs. In May of each year we hold our annual Fashion Show, which is the main fundraiser that allows us to present scholarships and to support candidates. In November we will again host approximately 80 military spouses from the Naval Bases Ventura County in recognition of the service that they too give to our country.

Yes, we are a busy group of women proudly contributing to our community, State and Country in various ways and we look forward to having the opportunity to welcome you to our club.
